Lynda Staker is an Australian marsupial specialist and the author of The Complete Guide to The Care of Macropods, an informative reference manual covering the husbandry of most species of kangaroos and wallabies.  Lynda has reared and rehabilitated many species of Australian native animals over the past 20 years. 
Her experience hand rearing orphaned sugar gliders has given her an insight into the antics of these unique animals, thus assisting her portrayal of them through her illustrations in Kimi Sue.
